My client is a boutique Ecology Consultancy who are undergoing a period of expansion and who are looking to add a **Principal Ecologist** to their team, to aid that growth. This is a forward thinking business, who will support your professional development.

**What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the Principal Ecologist**:

- Provide ecology consultancy on a diverse range of projects
- Grow, develop and mentor an ecology team
- Provide technical review of ecological reports; designing and implementing mitigation

**Required Skills and Qualifications of the Principal Ecologist**:

- Hold specialist mitigation class/European Protected Species Mitigation licences
- Experience of protected species and habitat surveys
- Full/chartered membership of CIEEM

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
