We are looking to appoint a suitably enthusiastic and / or experienced individual as a Learning Support Assistant (Level 2) to support students within the SEND department. The post is offered on a Fixed Term Contract from September 2023 to 31 August 2024 in the first instance.

LSAs contribute to the development of a strong, effective school with an emphasis on aspiration and attainment, delivered through strong classroom practice and a fiercely held and demonstrated belief in the role of the school in developing citizens for the future.

All staff will demonstrate those philosophies which characterise effective schools - a commitment to education, to the needs and rights of all pupils and to the development of the school’s community, with strong, mutually supportive relationships with parents, partner schools and the broader community.

LSAs will be responsible for supervising students both on a one-to-one and group basis, under the direction of the Classroom Teacher and the SENDCo; assisting with the management of students. Relevant experience and qualifications are applicable, applicants should have good communication skills and have the ability to relate well to young people.
