We are looking to place a telehandler operator within a reputable construction company specialising in housebuilding. They are dedicated to delivering high-quality workmanship and ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate a telehandler to lift, move, and place materials and equipment as needed on construction sites.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the telehandler and report any issues or defects to the appropriate personnel.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to project timelines and deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Telehandler Operator or similar role.
- Valid Telehandler Operator certification/license.
- Strong understanding of telehandler operations, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual tasks and operate heavy machinery.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 24 months

**Salary**: £18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 39 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Broxburn: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
