The Airbrush Company Ltd. is a family run business with over 75 years’ experience in buying and selling airbrushes. We have been partnering with retailers to provide creative products to artists and creators all over the world. Our mission is to create a great experience for our customers with excellent product knowledge, sales advice, technical support, and training on the products we sell.
About the role:
We are looking for a self-motivated person who is looking for a full-time sales career with a dynamic, well established family business. You will maximise sales by providing a high standard level of service to customers through good product knowledge, excellent communication skills, strong sales skills and be able to independently handle all aspects of making a sale. You will be expected to meet with potential customers to showcase and demonstrate our products, plus attend trade shows with a busy footfall.
Having a creative eye is beneficial, but not essential. We are looking for individuals who are energetic, conscientious, and eager to learn about the trade. Full product training will be given.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
- Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organising daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade businesses.
- Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet.
- Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
- Submits orders by referring to price lists, product literature and website.
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports and weekly work plans.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
- Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge.
- Works independently and contributes to team effort.
- Participates in trade shows and exhibitions.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Five years of sales experience (preferred).
- Five years of customer service (preferred).
- Full UK driving license.
- Meeting sales goals.
- Closing skills.
- Self-confidence.
- Client relationships.
- Motivation for sales.
**Job Type**:
- 6-month contract with view to permanent position.
- 8-hour shift.
- Monday to Friday.
Pay: £24,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
