- As one of our Security Contract Delivery Professionals, you’ll help manage day to day security tasks for a customer contract whilst remaining sensitive to risk and fluidity. You’ll find out how amazing it feels to work collaboratively with our Defence teams to help keep our, and our customer’s information secure.- Additionally, the support of new contracts and services is an important part of this role, as this is a broad role with has great variation and the ability to make this job your own. You’ll get to work with great individuals with from a variety of backgrounds who all form the BT Defence Security Team.**What you’ll do**:

- Manage personnel security for multiple contracts in the Defence sector
- Support the delivery and maintenance of our ISO27001 certification
- Be a Security Champion and ambassador
- Lead by example and promote security best practice and awareness
- Work under general direction from one of our contract security managers
- Engage other parts of BT to complete audits against various security standards and policies
- Work alongside other team members as an integral part of a security contract team
- Work alongside other teams to enable cross BT working
- Help implement information security management processes
- Create supporting security policies, processes, and standards
- Deliver improvements to our security controls
- Undertake other continuous improvement and transformational activities to improve contract security and reduce risk

**You’ll definitely**:

- Be able to obtain and maintain SC level security clearance.
- Be organised and able to multi-task.
- Good working knowledge/experience of Microsoft office suite.
- Be comfortable challenging and working to strict deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Relationship management with excellent written and spoken communication.
- Be self-motivated and proactive.
- Use your initiative and be comfortable working with changing requirements
- Have an enquiring mind, thirst for knowledge and willingness to learn and progress in the role.
- Be willing to ask for help when required.

**You might even**:

- Have experience of continuous improvement or transformation projects.
- Have experience working with the following security standards:

- NIST
- ISO 27001
- Government Security Policies (I.E JSP 440 & GovS 007)
- Have a good technical understanding of information communications technology.
- Have experience in a security led environment.
