**We have an opportunity for a Patient Liaison Officer to join the Sales and Marketing team as a key player within the sales arm. This role requires a focused and target driven individual who has excellent customer service skills and a passion for generating new business.**

**This is a Full-time, permanent role for 37.5 hours a week. There may be an expectation for more flexible working from time to time however any overtime will be accrued as time off in lieu.**

**Applicants should meet the following criteria**:

- Proven influencing/sales skills
- Numeric
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel and Word
- Experience in using CRM systems
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a healthcare environment preferrable but not essential
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A strong commercial awareness

**Duties of this role include**:

- To ensure a quality service for potential self-funding patients including the accurate and timely response to self-pay enquiries from patients, consultants, medical secretaries and the National Enquiry Centre (NEC booking centre)
- To increase conversion rates from patient enquiry or initial appointment to surgery through timely contact, excellent customer service skills and solid sales experience
- Maintaining a secure database of potential sales (pipeline) and secured sales (revenue generated) for regular reporting to the Manager and Regional Head of Sales and Marketing
- Daily use of CRM systems and excel data spreadsheets for generating patient quotes or guide prices
- Working closely with the hospital admissions teams to facilitate faster patient access to surgery where possible. Identify issues with patient access which can be fed back to the Sales and Marketing Manager.
- To facilitate in the provision of clinical information required by patients to help convert to procedure
- To fully understand the CHG sales proposition and to appropriately influence patients to choose CHG for their procedure
