Playleader required for Simply Out of School Trelales based in Trelales Primary School.

**Hours of work**: Monday - Friday

After School Club: 3.00pm - 5.30pm

+Admin / Shop paid additional

**Simply Out of School Mission Statement**

Simply Out of School aims to provide high quality childcare in a happy, safe, warm and stimulating environment for all children to play, learn and develop freely. The individuality of each child in our care will be respected and nurtured. We will help children to develop responsibility for themselves and their actions and to become competent, confident, independent, and co-operative individual.

*Managing the day-to-day running of the after school club

*Liaise with Management daily

*Liaise with the school daily and create a positive working relationship

*Handle and manage cash payments

*Manage staff team daily

*Deal with questions / complaints professionally
- Assisting with the day-to-day running of the After School Club, including setting up and clearing up.
- Preparing snack, drinks and tea in line with club’s Healthy Eating Policy.
- Supervising play opportunities with children.
- Contributing towards planning and preparation of craft activities and assisting children with these.

*Ensuring the children have a fun, enjoyable and exciting experience in club.

**Qualifications**:Level 3 is favourable in CCLD or Playwork**

Current First Aid, safeguarding and Food Hygiene Certificates an advantage.

**Experience**: Experience with children aged 3 - 11 years preferred and experience of playwork a definite advantage.

**Rate of pay**: _£11 _per hour, dependent on qualifications and experience.

(With the potential of the hourly rate to increase after April 2023)

Two references will be required at interview stage.

A full CV (with no time gaps) is required prior to interview.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 12.5 per week

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
