**Role Purpose**

This is a permanent job role.

We are picking up more frameworks across the Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water region and therefore looking to expand our Mechanical teams.

Core hours Monday to Friday, contracted to 40hrs per week on site hours. Paid hourly with overtime paid.

You will be paid travel time door to door, on top of your contracted and overtime hours.

Company van can be provided.

**The Role**
- To be responsible for supervising electrical installations in accordance with (current) Bridges Mechanical Safety Rules and Essential Standards.
- Ensure that all items are installed to the highest standards, in compliance with the project’s quality plan and inspection and test plans.
- To follow and actively promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment and to be empowered to stop work should unsafe circumstances arise.
- To coach and mentor Mechanical Fitters, Mates and Apprentices.
- Promote and demonstrate the Bridges’ values when dealing with peers, staff, customers and clients.
- Promote positive health and wellbeing amongst their peers.
- To act in a professional manner and be an ambassador for Bridges, supporting the business goals and maintaining the company’s positive reputation.

**Requirements**:
Required
- Experience as a Mechanical Supervisor
- SSSTS or SMSTS (essential)
- Experience in Water / heavy Industrial industry
- Appropriate City & Guilds trade Qualification
- CSCS & CCNSG (or similar)
- Fitness to work medical
- Full UK driving license

Desirable
- PASMA (desirable)
- IPAF (desirable)
- Confined space
- Authorisation to Pressure Test (Bridges)
- Emergency first aid or First Aider
- EUSR water hygiene
- Thames water passport
