**Night care assistant**
**Job description**
40 bed care home based in Leicestershire in a quiet residential area. We offer specialist residential dementia care, in a peaceful and safe environment for individuals with dementia, and with long term illness. We are very passionate about providing the very best care in our residential home, helping our residents to live longer, healthier and a happier lives. We are at present looking for individuals who are passionate and enthusiastic about developing a career in care. We provide full training and therefore are willing to consider applicants from outside a care background, although some experience in the care environment would be at an advantage.
**Duties & Requirements**
- You will be taking responsibility of the well being of residents and their needs
- Assisting with personal care for example washing, dressing personal hygiene and helping with meals
- Encouraging residents with independence, dignity and respect as well as choice by the providing the highest level of care.
- Also completing care records and keeping them up-to-date and accurate
- Undertaking training which is ongoing
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a dedicated team
- A respectful, courteous and compassionate nature and a willingness to undertake any aspects of care or non-care duties
- A belief in giving your personal best at all times and striving for continuous improvement We have a range of positions available from part time to full time and bank positions. All shifts available days, nights, weekends.

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour
