An opportunity has come available for a Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer in the Manchester area. My client is a well-respected multi-disciplinary consultancy with a national spread working on a wide range of projects for all disciplines. Due to companyexpansion and diversity plans, they are now looking to appoint a Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer to build and develop a team, supporting all other disciplines throughout the business. This role also offers the chance to get up to Director level.

As a Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer, your role will consist of managing all aspects of the Geo-Environmental department on a technical, commercial and financial basis. You will be tasked with building and developing a team at your own speed with fullsupport of the business. Although they already have an established internal workstream and client base, you will be expected to capitalise on this with your own network and business development.

The successful Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer applicant should be local to Manchester, chartered with a relevant contaminated land or engineering body, ideally SiLC certified, well-rounded Geo-Environmental / Geotechnical Engineer with experience indelivering complex contaminated land, remediation and/or geotechnical projects from tender/phase 1 through to validation/verification stages. You MUST have commercial awareness and business development experience.
You will be reporting into the board of directors but have the freedom and autonomy of the Geo-Environmental department.
