Catering Assistant

The catering department at Rowley Hospital is looking to recruit a part time experienced Catering Assistant to work within our Central Production Unit

Duties include, potwash and kitchen clean duties, associated general/deep cleaning duties and completion of control paperwork.

Applicants must have previous catering experience with high standards of work, be an outgoing, hard-working and enthusiastic individual that is able to work on their own initiative.

Hours 18.375 hours per week

Shift pattern

4 week rota, average 18.375 hours per week,

Week 1 - Monday & Friday 7.30am - 2.00pm, Wednesday 9.00am - 13.30pm

Week 2 - Monday 7.30am - 14.00pm, Tuesday & Wednesday 9.00am - 13.30pm, Thursday 9.00am - 13.30pm

Week 3 - Wednesday 9.00am - 13.30pm, Thursday 7.00am - 13.30pm, Friday 7.30am - 14.00pm

Week 4 - Monday 7.30am - 14.00pm, Tuesday & Wednesday 9.00am - 13.30pm, Friday 7.00am - 13.30pm

Applicants are required to be flexible in their approach to hours and duties and able to work additional shifts as and when required.

To carry out a wide range of general catering duties in an efficient and effective manner to ensure that a high quality service is provided at all times. This post has a significant amount of personal contact with Staff, Patients and Members of the Public.
