Working Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, the post holder will be responsible for assisting in the management of the site HSE systems, working proactively with both employees and management to establish and maintain safe and environmentally sustainable systems of work across all areas of the site.

Maintain the Health & safety Management System
Responsible for ensuring compliance with current legislation, industry standards and company procedures.
Daily site inspections of all departments to proactively ensure compliance and establish a healthy cultural attitude towards health, safety and environmental related issues throughout the workforce.
Assist in Investigations of all accidents/incidents that occur and collate all information, complete and action outcomes from accident investigations.
Collate, input, review, action and supply feedback on near misses.
Give assistance with all audits, internal and external. Update matrices in relation to audit reports.
Risk Assessments - review and update risk assessments with departments to ensure that all areas of the factory are assessed and accurate.
Safe Working Procedures - assist departments in writing and implementing new processes.
Assess all new equipment.
Help and coordinate any emergency situations.
Assist in the management of ad-hoc departments such as; Hygiene, Site Aesthetics and Security.
General Administration duties.
Attend meetings as required.
Assist when required in the daily maintenance of the Environmental Management System and ISO 14001
Must be proactive in on-going carbon reduction and sustainability projects.
Assist in the collation of water and energy meters usage, review and report findings.
Ensure daily/weekly compliance by collecting water samples, conducting odour and brook monitoring.

Positive attitude towards Health and Safety.
NEBOSH qualification (desired.)
Have experience in Health and Safety matters.
Confident Microsoft Office user.
Passionate about environmental and sustainable projects.
