**Overview**:
Our client provides warehousing operations for a range of well know retail customers. This role will be as a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of an ecommerce picking and packing warehouse. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of customer orders, maintaining a safe working environment, and driving operational excellence within the warehouse. The site operates on rolling day shift pattern with occasional weekend work.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Leading, training and motivating a team of warehouse operatives through a management structure including Team Leaders, to achieve daily productivity targets for picking, packing and order fulfilment.
- Manage inventory levels, carry out stock checks and coordinate replenishment activities.
- Enforce safety procedures and guidelines to create a safe working environment.
- Continuously seek opportunities to optimise warehouse operations, streamline processes and reduce costs.
- Maintain accurate records of warehouse performance and report to management.
- Manage incoming customer enquiries and resolve any issues.

**Person Specification**:

- Previous experience in running warehouse teams preferably in an ecommerce or high-volume order fulfilment environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven track record of motivating and developing employees.
- Developed organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise work effectively.
- Understanding of safety regulations and best practice in warehousing environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse and inventory management systems.
