**Payments Advisor**
- Annual Salary: £25000 PA
- Location: Belfast, BT6
, Permanent
- 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm.
- 20 days holiday plus 8 statutory days per year
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage electronic payments and direct debits to ensure prompt and accurate transactions with customers.
- Communicate effectively with a diverse customer base and internal teams to resolve queries and arrange specialist requests.
- Reconcile bank accounts and customer payments meticulously to ensure all figures balance.
- Utilise Excel and other Office Software to work with large datasets and create bespoke reports.
- Maintain and update company databases and systems with high accuracy.
- Perform administrative duties and other reasonable tasks as requested by management to ensure smooth office operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, and analyse significant amounts of data.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Good phone manner and writing skills for customer communication.
- Ability to communicate well and work effectively as part of a team.
- Approachable with good interpersonal skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to organise and prioritise work.
- Work accurately within strict guidelines and follow company procedures.
- Ability to maintain composure in challenging situations.
