**About us**

Premier Education are working collaboratively with primary schools to deliver exceptional before and after school care that is innovative, inspiring and above all a safe environment for all in our care. Your role will be to provide activities in a safe, secure and fun environment, providing an outstanding service for busy parents.

Premier Education successfully run full Wraparound provision in primary schools in the Cambridge and West Norfolk area. Our Premier Wraparound centres are Ofsted registered and can provide high quality out of school care for the parents. With this in mind we are looking for an outstanding applicant with experience to lead one of our venues.

Location - Ermine - Alconbury

Hours of work: 15 hours per week (3pm - 6pm)

Overtime available on Daily breakfast club 7.30am - 8.45am / Lunch Club if applicable

Overtime available in school holidays - Day rate of £70 per day

Care will be available in the after-school club every Monday to Friday in term time (breakfast club sessions may be available).

Holiday Clubs run during half terms and for the 6-week summer holiday, but not over the Christmas period.

**We are looking for**:

- Individuals that love working with children, are resilient and passionate about making a difference and seeing children thrive
- Enthusiastic, kind well-motivated individuals
- You must be a team player that is reliable and confident working collaboratively with all members of the community.
- Willing to undertake any relevant training including first aid and food and hygiene
- Have high personal expectations and dedication to achieve the best with the children we care for
- Have good Literacy and Numeracy skills, able to support children in reading, writing and maths as they will be allocated time to continue with their learning during the session.
- Will be able to prepare healthy snacks for the children
- Participate in a range of activities with the children during sessions both inside and outside.
- Be able to assist with the planning of activities, supporting and engaging with children during the sessions.
- Will have a general understanding of play work principals and seven characteristics of learning

**Desirable (company we pay for qualification if successful)**:

- Experience of working within a play-based setting
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Appropriate child protection training
- Current 12-hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate (company training)
- Food Hygiene Certificate (company training)
