**About the role**:
IRISi is a social enterprise established to promote and improve the healthcare response to domestic violence and abuse. We are looking for an Advocate Educator who will deliver training to healthcare practitioners across selected general practices in Blackpool. You will be responsible for establishing relationships within your assigned practices for health professionals to have the confidence to identify and refer women affected by domestic violence and abuse into the service for support. You will provide 1:1 advocacy and support to women to manage their risks and needs. Comprehensive IRISi training will be provided.

Previous experience of directly supporting vulnerable adults and an understanding of the dynamics of domestic and sexual abuse is essential.
