We are currently recruiting for two experienced Sales Administrators, one junior and one senior, for one of our key manufacturing clients in Worthing
Details of job:
- Days: Monday-Friday, with a half day on Friday's
- Hours: 08:00-17:00
- Permanent role
- Salary: £22,000-£27,000 depending on experience
**Responsibilities**:
- To provide efficient Sales Administration service for customers at all times.
- To take responsibility for a designated group of customers, establishing an excellent working relationship in order to assist sales development with those customers.
- To respond to customer's enquiries promptly and efficiently, liaising with departments where further information is required.
- To process customer's orders promptly and efficiently.
- To monitor stocks and purchase orders for the designated group of customers, making suggestions for stock replenishment where necessary.
- To monitor enquiries and orders from the designated group of customers, making proposals for schedules, purchases and products as appropriate and informing them of any changes in the status of their orders - e.g. delivery delays.
- On receipt of customer's enquiries on progress of orders, to assess status and respond promptly to the customer concerned - target 2 hours. Where the status of an order/enquiry is unacceptable, to take appropriate action on the customer's behalf, keeping the customer always informed.
- To become fully conversant with new products and technologies as they are introduced, participating in training as provided, or through making management aware of your needs.
- To assist in maintaining accurate information on the CRM package.
- To assist with all matters of general office administration within the sales office, including filing.
- To work flexibly as directed by management - e.g. participation in stock checks.
**Job requirements**:
- Excellent customer service skills/abilities
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, organisational, analytically, problem solving and computer skills both numerical and verbal.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail along with a commitment to quality
- Demonstrable administrative experience, ideally in a fast paced environment
- Proficient IT user, with good skills in Word, Excel and Outlook
- An ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Experience of order processing and inputting orders into database
