**JOB TITLE: HR & PAYROLL CO-ORDINATOR**:
**Full time, 40 hours per week Monday-Friday.**

**OVERVIEW**

As an experienced HR & Payroll Co-ordinator working alongside the HR Manager you will be responsible for providing the day-to-day operational HR support for the hospital and assisting with payroll. You will be expected to have a passion for delivering the best possible service and support for the associates. You will have excellent communication skills, ensuring collaborative and effective working relationships between teams, leadership, and other group associates. You will proactively seek and share best practice across the hospital.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Input all team rotas accurately on to our holiday system.
- Manage maternity/paternity and family leave policy implementation across the site.
- Manage the induction process and ensure we are delivering all the information a new starter would require.
- Perform exit interviews with employees leaving DWR giving feedback to the SHRBP and Leadership team.
- Maintain employee personnel files and records, ensuring they are retained as per legal and Group requirements.
- Promote the employee benefit options and process requests as necessary.
- Monitor sickness and holiday to ensure the process is being followed correctly and logged accurately.
- Ensure return to work meetings are held after sickness/absences from work and actions are logged and completed.
- Attend hearings / meetings to note take when required.
- Maintain and monitor staff training records, liaising with line managers as necessary.
- Ensure that there is effective support for colleagues experiencing ill health and that when appropriate services such as the EAP and occupational health are utilised.
- Ensure oversight and management of those colleagues taking regular and/or on LT sickness absence. Support LMs to implement the absence policy as and when appropriate.
- Ensure oversight of visas, RTW documentation and support for LMs and colleagues regarding the same.
- Assist with the running of payroll alongside the Finance Manager

**KEY PEOPLE REQUIREMENTS**:

- You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to deliver clear and concise messages to the hospital teams.
- You will be able to take the initiative and be comfortable in working with a degree of ambiguity.
- A knowledge of 365 and Microsoft teams as well as a strong understanding on how to use Excel.
- Work effectively to role model change and the DWR behaviours of Excellence, Trust and Care.
- Strong personal integrity and confidentiality is essential to the role
- Attention to detail and excellent time management.

Demonstrates a strong commitment to team working with the ability to motivate teams, develop and maintain productive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

Analytical skills - interpret & present numerous forms of data.

Experience of change and managing the internal process to support associates through a transformation programme. Experience of leading or working collaboratively with a team to build strong relationships.
