The Cardiology department in our Leeds Hospital currently have an opportunity for a Cardiac Physiologist specializing in cardiac rhythm management to join the team on a bank contract. Continue your journey with us whilst we’ll support you to be your best.

The Role

Supporting the Cardiology department and CRM service as a Cardiac Physiologist, you will
- Be autonomous in device interrogation, optimisation, troubleshooting and reprogramming a range of CIEDs including ILRs, pacemakers, ICDs and CRTs, in line with local and national policies and guidelines
- Have experience with a range of programmers and devices from various manufacturers
- have experience in remote monitoring on multiple manufacturer platforms
- Support device implant and box change procedures in the interventional suite (IVS)
- Support the wider surgical teams in clinical decision making to reprogramme or deactivate devices prior to surgery, in accordance with BHRS guidance
- Ensure accurate clinical records are maintained in line with professional, statutory and organisational guidelines
- Provide clinical supervision in line with statutory requirements

**The Person**
- Be registered with the relevant professional body (RCCP, AHCS or HCPC)
- Be accredited with the BHRS, IBHRE, EHRA or equivalent, or be able to evidence they are working to that level
- An excellent communicator and team worker
- Be flexible, motivated and committed to the highest standards of patient care.

Our successful, purpose-built hospital deals with complex surgery and a vast range of specialities involving some 300 consultants. There are 80 bedrooms, an 8 bed Level 3 critical care unit and 6 theatres (2 Stryker laparoscopic and 2 laminar flow). We are close to the city centre and central railway station.
