Our client is a leading testing service provider who provide specialist testing in a vast array of industrial sectors with the aim of building a safe and sustainable environment. Their facility in Scotland directs their pharmaceutical testing efforts inwhich they test drug products and intermediates throughout the development process.
In this role you will join as a senior member of the collaborative and supportive Microbiology Team within their pharmaceutical testing lab. You will be responsible for:
- Performing microbiological testing and validation of client materials (media preparation, environmental monitoring, culturing and growth promotion)
- Communication with external clientele and holding meetings
- Change controls, CAPAs, SOPs, root cause analysis
- Deputisation of leadership team
You will need:
- 5+ years’ in GMP-regulated microbiological environment with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements
- Excellent understanding of competencies required for microbiological technique
- Strong ability to understand client requirements and devise most appropriate solutions
