Based in Milton Keynes, Wards Welding and Fabrications is a family run welding and fabrication specializing in products for the construction and agricultural sectors of industry. As a well established company with over 30 years in industry, Wards prides itself on the quality and turn around time of its products.

Wards is looking to hire a highly experience welder with a strong work ethic to bolster its current welding team to cope with its ever expanding demand. The position will ideally suit an experienced welder who has worked across a variety of different material sections due to the diversity of work undertaken as a company.

**Personal Qualities**:

- Ability to work independently
- Able to read engineering drawings with a variety of weld symbols
- Able to work in a high pressure production environment
- Must be versatile to cope with changing work
- Attention to detail
- Good time keeping
- Ability to perform a physical role

**Key Skills and Experience**:

- MIG welding fabricated parts in accordance with engineering drawings
- Ideally previous MIG welding to EN1090 EXC 2 or higher
- Previously coded for fillet and butt welds
- Experience with a range of sections and thickness's ranging from 2mm to 25mm
- Fabrication of steel products using band saws, drills, punches and presses

**Desirable Skills**:

- Previous forklift experience
- Clean driving license

**Job Type**: Full time permanent

**Start Date**: Immediate if available

**Hourly Rate**: Negotiable dependent on experience

**Working hours**: Monday to Friday 8am till 5pm

**Holiday**:28 days holiday per year (inclusive of bank holidays)
