We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic Warehouse Manager working from our West Thurrock depot.

This is a full-time and permanent role. We offer 25 days holiday per annum plus the recognised eight public holidays.

**Main Duties of the Warehouse Manager**:

- Manage and control stock levels within the stores.
- Manage operatives' daily tasks within the stores.
- Maintain a serviceable and tidy store to maximise material usage.
- Organise delivery drivers' drop routes and ensure efficiency is maximised.
- Ensure material lines are complete and organised before being collected by operatives or delivery drivers.
- Work closely with the engineers ensuring materials are ordered in time for scheduled works and costed to the relevant projects.
- Take full responsibility for the control of the stock leaving and entering the depot.
- Obtain quotes from multiple suppliers to ensure cost efficient purchasing.
- Manage relationship with suppliers.
- Raise purchase orders to suppliers.
- Using an internal stock system book materials to individual projects ensuring monthly deadlines are met.
- Complete quarterly stock checks.

**Essential Skills**:

- Must have a clean, current UK driving licence.
- The successful applicant needs to be a good communicator, diligent, and self-motivated.
- Experienced in managing stock movement and control.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Knowledge of electrical parts and materials will be an advantage however not essential for the correct hard-working individual.
- Ideally experience in hire equipment, supply and returns.
