Bench Joiner/cabinet Maker

**Job Title: Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker**

£25,000 - £40,000 per annum - Subject to experience
- Days Regular Shift Pattern
Flexible working Hours (as long as you complete 40 hours)_

**We are seeking an experienced and skilled Wood Bench Joiner to join our wood manufacturing client.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to produce wood furniture products
- Use a variety of hand and power tools to measure, cut, shape and join wood pieces
- Operate production machinery such as saws, sanders, edgebanding machines, and other woodworking equipment
- Inspect wood pieces for defects and ensure that all woodwork meets quality standards
- Assemble wood pieces into finished products, including benches, chairs, tables, and other custom wood furniture
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including regularly cleaning tools and machinery, and following safety procedures

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a wood bench joiner or similar role
- Knowledge of woodworking tools, materials, and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Familiarity with production machinery and woodworking equipment, such as saws, sanders, and edgebanding machines
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
