Translate UK Ltd is a small business in Halifax. We provide a high-quality language service to customers throughout the UK.

We’re seeking an outgoing, friendly and determined Translations Coordinator to join our growing team. Someone who can make a connection in an instant, turn a chance meeting into a lasting friendship and has the vision to balance multiple workloads

Based in our Halifax office, this dynamic and rewarding role will involve growing our client base whilst simultaneously acting as a poc for translations bookings. The Translations Coordinator is a pivotal position, driving growth with new and existing customers.

This is an immensely challenging role that requires loads of energy, dedication, humour and people skills. Experience in a similar role is preferred but not required. If you’re a logical thinker, love problem solving and happy to negotiate with others to get the job done, we’d love to hear from you.

**Duties**:

- Quoting for customers and negotiating rates with translators
- Working with Senior Management to grow and develop the Translations Department
- Identify and qualify potential customers through research, cold calling, networking, and leveraging online platforms
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers, understanding their language service needs and positioning our services to meet them
- Following up with Translators on completion deadlines
- Acting as a point of contact for translators, recording issues and achievements.
- Accurately disseminating information and sharing appropriately
- Ensuring daily, weekly and monthly deadlines are met

**Personal Specifications**:
Superb telephone manner.

Strong interpersonal skills to foster and maintain client relationships.

Effective communicator in both formal and informal settings and able to tell which is appropriate.

Willing and able to put the business first and negotiate with colleagues to get the job done.

Able to work effectively and reliably in an informal environment.

High level of IT proficiency.

Ability to multi-task and manage priorities within a dynamic environment.

Detail orientated, able to complete repetitive tasks accurately and efficiently.

Flourish working as part of a team and independently.

Responsive and flexible with a positive work ethic.

The desire to take ownership of a challenge and develop with the role.

**Desirable**:
Previous sales or business development experience.

High tolerance of rug-pull moments and moving goal posts.
