Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9.00am to 1.00pm.

**Please note**: the nursery is open throughout the year.

**Responsibilities and Duties (Training and support will be provided)**
- To organise, cook and prepare a healthy, balanced diet for children aged 0 to 5 years in accordance with the nursery menus
- Cater for children who have allergies and special dietary requirements and prepare alternatives
- Monitoring and recording of all information as required in the CookSafe document
- Ensure high standards of hygiene, health and safety is maintained in the kitchen at all times
- To prepare a weekly shopping list
- Ensuring the kitchen and equipment is cleaned and maintained to a high standard

A current food hygiene certificate would be an advantage, but is not essential as training will be given.
