We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior/Graduate Analyst Programmer to join our newly created Digital team. This is a full time, permanent role based at our Support Centre in Speke, Liverpool.

This is a rare opportunity to be in a secure start up and help to set up everything right, first time. The role is fairly diverse, and you will get exposure to many parts of our ecommerce solution. Starting primarily in a technical support role, you willneed good SQL and excel skills as well as strong analytical skills to be effective in this role. The role is open to both junior level and recent graduates and you can move into a support or software development role after a suitable period.

**The Key Accountabilities in the role are**:

- Monitor operational systems.
- Review logs and investigate issues.
- Triage issues and create tickets where necessary.
- Assist in finance recon, identify fixes and implement.
- Technical software testing where required.
- Data analysis.
- Code reviews.
- Degree in computer science or similar or equivalent practical experience.
- Good understanding of at least one programming language, e.g..NET, PHP.
- Distributed Version control (such as GIT or similar).
- Unit/Integration testing
- Good understanding of SOLID principles.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
- An engineering mindset.
- Good relational database and SQL skills.
- Good analytical and creative skills and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- You will need to be a generalist. This is a start-up, initially you will need to be comfortable to take on multiple responsibilities and play a key role in helping to keep our environment and systems operational.
