**Job summary**:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Audiologist to join our team as a Band 5 Audiologist.

**Main duties, tasks & skills required**:
As part of the Audiology Team at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the post holder will be responsible for assessment and rehabilitation of patients attending for hearing assessment. Audiology runs specialist clinics and there will be opportunities to work alongside staff working with Tinnitus, Vestibular and Hearing Implant patients. As a clinician contributing to the provision of patients with complex hearing needs, you will have the opportunity to work autonomously with a wide variety of patients and develop your career in partnership with clinical experts in the field of Audiology.

**Qualifications**:
**Essential**:

- BSc/PTP in Audiology (or equivalent)
- Registered with RCCP/HCPC/AHCS/HAD

**Experience**:
**Essential**:

- Training period must include a significant period of supervised clinical audiology training
- Experience of working with patients with hearing difficulties
- Knowledge of methods used to evaluate hearing, balance and tinnitus
- Understanding of the issues surrounding hearing impairment and impact on quality of life
- Knowledge of hearing pathologies and otoscopic examination and interpretation
