**The Role**

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and guest-oriented Room Service Waiter/Waitress to join our team under a zero-hour contract. We are looking for a passionate individual to cater, deliver and exceed our guests’ needs and expectations and to provide the highest levels of personalised five-star customer service.

Reporting to the Room Service and Events Manager, the Room Service Waiter/Waitress responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following tasks and performances:

- To take, prepare and assist to deliver room service orders to guests and to check quantities and presentation based in accordance with Baglioni service standards.
- Ensure full knowledge of the room service menu and services available to guests.
- To consistently deliver and exceed positive customer service at all times.
- To clear, clean and lay room service tables and check the state and cleanliness of crockery, cutlery and glasses.
- Ensure hotel standards of service are adhered to at all times.
- To take part in the preparation and cleaning of the room service areas.
- Ensure the service regulations of the hotel are applied.
- Preparation of the room service related amenities assisting when required.
- To adhere to all Health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations as set by the company.
- To ensure the correct usage of equipment.
- To be responsible for his/her own personal health and hygiene appearance.
- To comply with licensing laws and weights and measures regulations.
- To maintain good working relationships with other hotel departments and team.
- To carry out all reasonable requests from management.

**The successful Room Service Waiter/Waitress will**:

- Have previous experience within a customer service environment, preferably within the luxury hotel or catering industry.
- Be fluent in written and spoken English. Knowledge of other languages will be of advantage.
- Have commitment to respond to guest requests and deliver high level of service.
- Be passionate about customer satisfaction and endeavour to create the perfect customer experience.
- Have excellent grooming standards.
- Have a positive can-do attitude and be an excellent team player.
- Have exceptional communication skills (verbal, listening, writing).
- Have developed customer care skills and a very keen eye for detail.
