**Hotel Finance Assistant**
**Chichester, West Sussex**
**Part time in the office - 25 hours per week**

Our client is looking for an experienced part time Hotel Finance Assistant to join their boutique hotel. You will be working with the E & H Billing Manager to ensure a seamless financial support to the Entertaining and Hospitality department.
**Responsibilities**:
- General administration tasks to complete while supporting the E & H Key Billing Manager and the wider finance team.
- Oversee the full bank reconciliation for the hotel and keep this up to date daily. Investigate any discrepancies with the relevant person.
- Take care of the hotels petty cash, ensure everything is recorded and accurate.
- Review and post updates on the daily revenue journals across the E & H business. Including internal recharges and working with the relevant teams to improve this.
- Raise and communicate the BACS reports for the Membership departments on a weekly basis.
- Work with the front of house desk to ensure all files are storage safely to ensure all records complies with all the GDPR and PCI complaint legislation.
- Ensure accurate and tidy records keeping through monthly shredding and file rotation.
- Work as part of the central finance team for a certain period of time each week to help assist the team with cash counting as well as other requirements.
**Requirements**:
- Practical experience of working within finance is essential.
- Previous hotel or till experience would be desirable but not essential.
- Microsoft office skills are required especially within Excel.
- Good eye for detail and organisation skills.
