Acorn is proud to be working in partnership with a well-known FMCG Food Manufacturer based in Flint, in search for a Production Manager to work on a 4-on-4-off, 7am-7pm shift-pattern.
As a Production Manager in this high-speed, high-volume food manufacturing environment, you will ensure outputs, compliance, and health and safety run smoothly and are adhered to in your areas of responsibility. You will be responsible for overall factory operation,and you will need to liaise with Engineering, Technical, Hygiene and Logistics departments.
Furthermore, you will effectively manage the production of product in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring the processes, manufacturing and quality of products meet the high specification that the company sets out.
Main responsibilities:

- To control all aspects of the line production to deliver 100% service in quality
and meals to the Dispatch department, ultimately the customer
- Ensuring Health and Safety standards are maintained
- Ensure compliance to GMP
- Managing resources including ingredients, staff and equipment
- To ensure all set targets are met, including waste, plan attainment, line
efficiency, weight and quality controls
- Lead the operational performance of the team
- Constant evaluation of requirements by attending all daily meetings
Experience and skills required:

- Previous experience in similar FMCG environment is required
- Experience of managing teams in similar FMCG environment
- Good organisational skills
- Good level of written and spoken communication
- Good organisational skills
- Computer literate
- Time served experience in a production environment
- Ability to lead by example
- Ability to delegate tasks to subordinates
- Excellent timekeeping
Hours: 4 on 4 off, 07:00-19:00

**Salary**: £33000-£35000 DOE
