**SETTER OPERATOR - UNITECH BLAYMIRES LTD - RAF- 3356**

**Role Overview**:
Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Manager, **your role will be to set single and automatic coil fed presses from 15 - 300 tonne, in line with PUWER / RoSPA guidelines.**

**Main duties will include**:

- Be fully conversant in feeding and changing over coils.
- Oversee Operators ensuring Health & Safety is adhered to whilst reporting any issues that may jeopardize quality or Health & Safety standards.
- Analyse and resolve tooling issues.
- Maintain safe working practices within the workplace.
- Development of new tools.
- In process inspection of products.
- Day to day machine maintenance.
- Preparation of tooling in advance to eliminate waste and improve productivity.
- Carry out quality checks and record the necessary data in line with the manufacturing instructions.
- Maintain cleanliness within the working area.
- Carry out any reasonable request in line with Company direction.

**Skills & Experience Required**:

- Must be able to work on own initiative.
- Be able to communicate effectively with own team and other departments.
- Be organised and have the ability to prioritise and multi-task.
- Must pay attention to detail.
- Possess a flexible working attitude.
- **Possession of a PUWER / RoSPA Power Press certificate is essential with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.**:

- **Be experienced in automated coil fed production lines with servo roll feed units.**:

- Be used to using safe working practices.
- **Must hold a Counterbalance / Reach Forklift Truck License.**
