Apprentices will be working in all aspects of Plastering. Some examples are:

- Construct positive or negative running moulds. Set down running rules correctly. Run reverse moulds and prepare for casting. Run panel moulds. Take casts from reverse moulds.

Although this is a Plastering apprentice role, there may at times be some other aspects of construction involved in, which they shall be supervised and trained. When the apprentices are working, they will be supervised by a fully qualified member of staff and will be shown all the correct procedures including health and safety in the workplace. Along with ensuring that their work area is clean and safe, and that all the tools are cleaned and put away correctly at the end of each day.

**What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?**

After this apprenticeship, there is the availability to become a self-employed Plasterer with the employer. You will gain knowlege, experience and skill to become a better plasterer.

**Working Week**

Apprentices will be expected to work a minimum of 40 hours a week, 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday with exception for college. Subject to change down to employers discretion.

We have been operating for over 12 years with a longstanding and established name within the construction industry, with over 400 apprentices currently enrol.

- 12 hour shift
