The Food and Beverage team at The Alnwick Garden are looking for 2 Kitchen Porters to join the team to support the catering option. Responsible for providing a clean and safe working area following Alnwick Garden Health and Safety requirements.

**Role 1** - Treehouse Kitchen - 20 hour contract, July start

**Role 2** - Pavilion Kitchen - zero hour contract, immediate start

**Hourly Rate **£7 (up to 18)** - **£11.44 (21+)

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- To ensure that all goods received are properly counted/inspected to match specifications as per delivery notes.
- Ensure that all areas of the kitchens are maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness expected from Alnwick Garden requirements.
- Report at once any discrepancies to deliveries to your line manager.
- To maintain all catering storages areas organised and clean at all times.
- To comply with all legal requirements with particular reference to (but not exclusively) fire regulations, security, licence requirements and any Local Authority or Client stipulations.
- To ensure all Health, Hygiene and Safety requirements are being adhered to as described in the Alnwick Garden Health & Safety Policy
- To ensure all areas are regularly checked for maintenance and repairs and that any problem is reported to a member of the management team.
- Any other reasonable request by management.
