Tiger Computing is an IT services company that specialises exclusively in Linux. We design, build and support Linux systems, and we’ve been doing that since 2002. We’ve worked with companies like Ericsson, the NHS, and leading BioScience companies, and we’recertified under ISO27001, the Information Security standard.

**About your new role as our Business Development Manager**:
You will be our Business Development Manager accountable for managing new prospects, nurturing existing clients, and working with an external marketing team for new leads. You’ll use your B2B bus dev experience to build and nurture relationships with prospectiveclients who need our support. You’ll be joining a well-established leader in providing expert Linux support, serving high-tech businesses worldwide including Ericsson and the NHS.

**This is not a heavy selling role.** We’d like you to use your consultative selling skills to take leads and prospects through the sales cycle. You won’t need to hunt for all the leads either. Networking, online outreach and events, and improvingour current sales process will enable us to build on our success to date. You’ll earn well whilst enabling us to support more companies, therefore, growing our Company.

We’ve ambitious growth targets for this and next year, and we’d love you to be a crucial part of this success (no pressure)

The role is primarily home-based with occasional company and client meetings. You should be **located within easy reach of Birmingham or Monmouth for monthly and quarterly team meetings.**

**As our new BDM, you need the following experience, personality, and skills**:

- Proven B2B business development experience and an interest in tech.
- Able to thrive when you’re _**the**_business development team supported by tech ops and marketing.
- Able to have meaningful conversations with prospects and know when to bring in the tech team for more technical meetings.
- Able to get to know and then maintain relationships with existing clients.
- Define and enhance marketing strategies - we don’t expect you to be a marketer. Just to be able to work with a marketer for ideas around lead generation activities such as events.
- Use online resources and outsourcing to generate leads.
- Contribute to our Company management meetings.
- Qualify incoming leads (no cold calling).
- Develop relationships with prospects.
- Deliver online presentations with confidence.
- Liaise with the Tiger Computing technical operations department.
- Lead technical pre-sales meetings (we can support with the technical info needed).
- Produce quotes and proposals
- Manage everything within our CRM and ensure the management team know where you are against individual and Company KPIs.
- You’ll add to our team best if you’re also open to a bit of fun.
- Know how to work well remotely and also able to get to client and team meetings from time to time.

**Role: Business Development Manager**

**Salary: Basic - £35,000 to £40,000**

**OTE: £75,000 to £85,000 uncapped**

**Start date: Tomorrow?**

**Based: Hybrid with occasional team meetings in Monmouth or Birmingham and client meetings as needed**
