We are looking for a friendly receptionist to join our team at the The Old Bell Hotel in Malmesbury.

**Responsibilities**:

- Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Ensure knowledge of the hotel and opening times for all areas
- Covering occasional night shifts when necessary (to cover holidays)
- Check guests in and out of the hotel in a friendly manner
- Provide an excellent service to all guests throughout the hotel
- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay
- Booking guests in over the phone and in person for a stay
- Be confident, reliable and work well as part of a team
- Take payments for guests stays
- Ensure the reception and surrounding areas are clean and presentable
- Assist with administrative and clerical tasks as needed
- Other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for:

- To have a genuine and warm approach, with stand out people skills
- Good communication skills, and level of English - both written and spoken
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other necessary computer programs
- Ability to maintain a positive, friendly attitude even under pressure
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Previous experience is preferred but we are more interested in your passion for great customer service and exceptional people skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £11.50-£12.00 per hour
