**We are looking for**:
**Centre of Excellence in SEND Lead Coordinator**

**Salary £34,321-£37,222 per annum**

**The Role**:
Oldham College has been appointed by the Education and Training Foundation (ETF) as one of two new Centre for Excellence in Special Education Needs and Disabilities. Our work in this partnership will focus on the key theme of careers - helping to ensure that more SEND learners are able to secure meaningful employment as a key part of preparation for adulthood. We are looking for a credible SEND expert to represent the Oldham College nationally as part of our Centre of Excellence in SEND journey.

**Requirements**:
The role will require:

- Experience of and an excellent understanding of the mainstream and SEND FE sector
- Expertise in understanding the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework and 'all things SEND'
- Experience of identifying training needs and developing and promoting of CPD programmes
- Skills in and experience of the management and delivery of CPD events and training
- Undertaking quality visits of SEND provision across different types of FE provider
- Identifying topics for live events and communities of practice, and either delivering, facilitating, or arranging other experts to deliver these activities
- Established Project Manager skills including high level report writing and monitoring and tracking of information
- Promoting the work of the Centre for Excellence at events, speaking on behalf of Oldham College/the CfE where appropriate
- Liaising with the project leads from the other Centre’s (City College Norwich, Weston College, Natspec) to discuss areas of cross-over and plan programme dates and delivery together.
