- Permanent, Full-Time contract Monday to Friday, 08:00am - 05:30pm

**The Role**

Based at distribution centre in Clutton, near Bristol, you will manage and control your area of responsibility in line with area specific KPI targets and time constraints. Through positive behaviour and attitude, conduct and communication, you will drive, develop and lead a successful team of transport and driving colleagues. You will provide effective leadership, motivation, training and development to your team and will report to the Branch Manager.

**The Key Responsibilities of the Transport Supervisor will include**:

- Responsible for a small fleet of 7 drivers and 8 vehicles- Drive, develop and lead a successful team of transport and driving colleagues- Manage and control your area of responsibility in line with area specific KPI targets and time constraints- Planning and scheduling deliveries- Fleet maintenance- Operator Licence legislative compliance - driver's hours and record keeping- Operational reporting- Achieve and maintain crucial compliance standards- Operate a computer using the key office software programs- People focused, able to lead and motivate others- Previous experience in a busy transport office environment including fleet maintenance, route scheduling, legislative compliance and experience of working time, driver's hours and tachograph analysis.- Excellent oral and written communication skills- IT literate- Driven to deliver performance and results- Flexible and prepared to work additional hours in order to meet business requirements, including telephone calls associated with the provision of out of hours cover**Salary & Benefits**
