Machine Tester

We are currently looking to recruit a Machine Tester who must be able to demonstrate the ability to work to the high standards set by the Company. The Machine tester will need to have a proven track record of inspecting and testing vehicles in addition to a good grounding in engineering.

**Job Duties**
- Testing heavy vehicles
- Quality inspections of Heavy vehicles
- To commit to punctual attendance for day - to - day work
- Complying with all health and safety legislation and legal requirements is a priority.

**Skills/Qualification Required**
- A qualification in heavy vehicle engineering (City and Guilds or NVQ) or a relevant experience.
- Experience operating/testing heavy equipment.
- The ability to continue to learn and take on new tasks as and when presented.
- Being able to work as part of a team.

Previous experience working on/with machinery used in the rail Industry would be beneficial but not essential.

**Location**

Based in Company Premises on the Gilchrist Thomas Industrial Estate, Blaenavon.

**Hours of Work**

Monday - Thursday 06:00 - 16:15 or 07:00 - 17:15 (1/2 Hr Lunch Unpaid)

Minimum 39 Hour Week before any overtime is paid.

**Overtime**

Time & half for hours worked Monday - Saturday.
Double time for hours worked Sunday.

**Wages**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
