This international customer base is served by our ISO 9001:2015-certified manufacturing facility in Northeast England.
Location: Hybrid (partially working from home allowed) and on-site at Wilton, Redcar, UK

**What will you do?**
You will report to the Finance Shared Services Manager, performing duties in support of the Shared Services (and Accounting) divisions within our global Finance department.
Specific duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, the following:
- Bank reconciliations/payments/receipts (for regions US & UK).
- Suppliers - Purchase invoice entry/reconciling/supplier payments. Checking supplier statements ensuring all supplier invoices are on the system. Making payments.
- Sales invoicing/credit control. Dealing directly with customers and liaising with AbAb USA and UK answering queries re aged debt (copy invoices/statements etc.).
- Inputting customer orders and creating project initiation invoices.
- Credit card payment processing US & UK.
- Raising intercompany invoices to aid with month end reconciliations.
- VAT return every quarter.
- Being a first point of contact for general finance inquiries, offering resolutions and escalating them to the appropriate point of contact.
- Other ad hoc projects and reporting.
- Other tasks and duties may be assigned.

You are good at prioritising tasks and working to a deadline.
**Minimum job requirements**
- AAT (Assoc. Accounting Technicians IV) degree or equivalent degree or experience.
- At least 2 years of A/R and collections experience.
- Proficient in MS Office, with especially knowledge of MS Excel and 10-key by touch skills.
- Proven experience in working with a (large) ERP system.
- Proven experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.
- Ability to perform record-keeping tasks
- Proven ability to work with professional discretion and confidential information.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and problem solving.
- Well organized and good time management skills.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
- Authorised to work in the UK.
Preferred work skills and experience:
- 2 years of A/P experience.
- SAGE50 experience.

- A salary of commensurate with experience between £21,500 to £25,000
