As our Claims Team Leader, you will be leading and inspiring a team of 8-10 colleagues in our Bodily Injury Unit.
You will be setting and managing colleagues annual and monthly objectives, ensuring each colleague receives a monthly 121 to discuss performance and development. You will also ensure that each colleague receives the right level of support and training to encourage them to be the very best versions of themselves.
This role is based in our Bexhill-on-Sea office, with a hybrid approach to the office and homeworking.
What does day to day look like?Setting and managing annual/monthly objectives- Holding monthly 121’s to discuss performance and development and providing monthly coaching/development plans- Managing any HR related issues in line with our best practice- Ensuring all PDR’s are conducted within the time frames expected- Delivering effective monthly meetings- Ensuring payments are authorised in line with departmental time frames- Conducting regular audits on colleagues- Managing any departmental/team complaint handling- Ensuring each colleague receives the right level of support and training
What are we looking for?- Background and experience in leading a team- Proven record of driving results and meeting/exceeding targets- Committed to the development of colleagues and yourself- Customer focused- Excellent commercial awareness and decision making
