Trainee Sonographer

We are looking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to train as a sonographer in our Ultrasound Department at Liverpool University Hospitals. The training will include clinical training whilst undertaking the PgD Medical Imaging: Ultrasound qualification at the University of Cumbria.
This post is expected to begin from January 2023 and will continue for approximately 24 months. The clinical modules that will be undertaken will include: General Medical Ultrasound; Gynaecological Ultrasound and Vascular Ultrasound.
There will be multiple stages to the selection criteria for this post. These stages will include:
- Upon successful completion of stage 1, a 2,000 word written report, with suitable references will be required
On successful completion of stages 1 and 2, applicants will be invited to attend a practical scanning session and formal interview.
