We are looking to appoint a passionate and committed individual who will have a shared responsibility for facilitating learning and achievement in Brickwork and the Construction Industry.
The instructor will be required to teach/demonstrate practical multi skills in Bricklaying techniques to learners in order to prepare them for the world of work. Under the general guidance of lecturing staff you will deliver practical sessions to groups of learners in the workshop at Level 1 and Level 2 for up to 1000 hours per year (Sept-June), support the Lecturing staff to track and assess the learner’s progress, undertake assessment work (including on site to Level 3 apprentices) and plan activities in order to ensure that all learners meet the requirement of the qualifications.
Other duties will include ensuring that the workshop runs smoothly and mixes are prepared beforehand to learners have adequate mortar for their tasks. You will have access to a one to one mentor throughout your first year here to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £27,287.00-£29,114.00 per year
