Job Title: Full-time Pastoral Support Staff Member

**Salary**: £72.50 - £80 per day

Tradewind Recruitment is a leading education recruitment agency, and we are seeking to recruit a Full-time Pastoral Support Staff Member to join a long standing client in Scunthorpe. This is a non-teaching role that will involve providing on-call support to staff, internal exclusion room duties, and general support to the pastoral team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide on-call support to staff, dealing with pupil behavior issues and incidents that arise
- Manage internal exclusion room duties, supervising pupils and ensuring their well-being while in the room
- Offer general support to the pastoral team, assisting with administrative tasks, and contributing to the smooth running of the department
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents, promoting the school's values and ethos
- Attend relevant training and meetings as required

**Requirements**:

- Experience of working with young people, ideally in an education setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations
- Organised, with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Flexibility to work on-call and attend training/meetings outside of normal working hours

This is an immediate start role and will last until the end of the academic year. The pay for this role is between £72.50 and £80 per day, depending on experience.
