**Location - **Sheffield

**Salary - **£27,500 - £30,000 (Depending upon experience)

**Hours of work -** Monday to Friday 09:00 - 19:00 & 1 in 3 Saturday mornings

**Duties will include;**
- Managing the development, performance and maintenance within the transport department in partnership with another Traffic Coordinator
- Ensuring the traffic office team understands its duties and roles within the organisation, and the each task is completed within the team to the highest possible standard
- Responsibility to adhere to budgets and to proactively push profitability
- Recruitment & retention within the department
- Training and development for both the core team & new starters
- Day to day tasks such as route planning, resource allocation and management, driver supervision
- Implement and drive changes by reviewing current policies and processes whilst adapting to the ever changing customer demand.
- A minimum of 2 years experience with groupage/general haulage
- Knowledge of pallet networking
- A proven track record of planning and managing groupage / general haulage / fleet
- Good people management skills
- Ability to mentor, engage and drive team performance

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: £27,500.00-£30,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Groupage/General Haulage: 2 years (required)
- Pallet Network: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- IOSH/Nebosh Certificate (preferred)
- Managers CPC Qualification (preferred)
- Claass 1 or 2 HGV Licence (required)
