**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and prepare job sites with necessary tools and materials.
- Safely carry and organize roofing materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assist in removing old roofing materials and maintaining a clean work area.
- Support skilled roofers during installations and repairs.
- Measure, cut, and fit roofing materials under supervision.
- Operate tools and equipment following safety guidelines.
- Participate in job site cleanups and waste disposal.
- Assist with general maintenance and repair tasks.

Ideal Traits:

- Physical fitness and ability to work in varying weather conditions and at heights.
- Basic knowledge of roofing materials and tools is desirable.
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Prior construction or manual labor experience is beneficial.
- Willingness to comply with safety regulations.
- Valid driver's license (if required) and transportation.

Pay: £12.00-£17.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus scheme

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Birmingham, West Midlands: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
