**Join Our Team**

You will be the Capital Modelling Actuary. You will support the calculation of Internal Model capital requirements for both SIMA Syndicate 1945 (approved Internal Model) and the Group model used for entity ORSAs. You will report to the Head of Internal Modelling.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the calculation of capital requirements for the Syndicate in line with the Lloyd’s capital setting process
- Supporting the calculation of capital requirements for major entities across the Group for ORSA and strategic purposes
- Helping develop the Internal Models and associated processes in line with regulatory and business requirements
- Running the Internal Models to provide output to support business decision making
- Specifying and collating the data and parameterisation for the Internal Models
- Documentation of the Internal Models and associated processes
- Supporting the Internal Model Validation (Syndicate and internal) processes
- Any other duties as reasonably required

Your skills and abilities should include:

- Nearly/newly qualified Actuary
- Excellent academic record and degree level qualifications
- General Insurance capital modelling experience, preferably in the Lloyd’s market
- Good understanding of Solvency II and Lloyd’s
- Good communications skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working within a regulated company (PRA/FCA) with a solid understanding of Lloyd’s and regulatory compliance requirements
- The ability to collaborate and develop trusted working relationships with stakeholders and other team members
- Effective time management skills and a willingness to work on multiple projects with multiple stakeholders, in a rapidly changing environment
- A keen focus on accuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Advanced Excel and VBA skills
- Knowledge of ReMetrica and Python an advantage
