**Accounts Assistant - Part Time - Wakefield - £20,000 - £23,000 FTE**Chase & Holland are excited to be working with amarket leading business in the Wakefield area who are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their friendly finance team on a temporary basis up until September 2023. This is a fantastic opportunityfor with previous experience in purchase ledger to join a passionate team
**Accounts Assistant responsibilities include**:
- Inputting and recording receipt of invoices & distributing for authorisation if required
- Matching invoices to GRNs/Purchase orders
- Provide detailed descriptions for key nominal ledger accounts
- Successfully manage and resolve queries on unmatched invoices with internal and external stakeholders
- Answering queries from suppliers regarding payments and requesting missing invoices/credit notes
- Performing month end purchase ledger reconciliation
- Cover cash and sales ledger processing activities in Junior Management Accountant’s absence
- Previous experience working within a fast paced purchase ledger environment
- Keen eye for detail and excellent problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Must be IT literate including in Excel
