We are looking for an entrepreneurial Editor in Chief to lead Financial Edge’s Blog and technical website content function, strategy and team. They will report directly to and work closely with the management team to ensure company growth objectives are met.
- Develop a winning content strategy for on-site blog content that plays a pivotal role in the company's top-of-funnel sales strategy
- Lead a team of freelance writers and editors who together produce up to 80 stories per month
- Work cross-functionally with in-house graphic designers, e-learning designers, SEO specialists, marketing specialists, and more to bring your content strategy to life
- Develop and write you own content content which will consist of high-quality written blog posts, definitions, and articles
- Establish and enforce a unique tone of voice that resonates with the audience's taste for conversational, relatable content
- Develop a mechanism to update current blog content to stay up-to-date with trends and new information
- Leverage your financial services expertise to develop new content ideas
- Explore and execute an expansion of FE's media properties, including podcasts, video series, and more
- Regularly write, review and edit expert selection of blog articles for accuracy, content, and flow, and make recommendations to writers and editors for future pieces
- Review and proofing of our digital content and training material (where time permits)

**Requirements**:

- Educated to bachelors degree level
- 2- 3 years experience as an analyst in an Investment Bank or within sell-side or buy-side research
- A strong understanding of the main techniques and metrics used in company financial analysis and valuation
- Must possess excellent business writing skills
- Excellent written English skills with exemplary attention to detail
- Able to work to deadlines and prioritize effectively
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Significant interest in the Financial services sector be it Banking, Corporate Finance, Wealth Management, Asset Management amongst others
- Good level of initiative and problem solving ability (creative thinker)
- Self starter, motivated and able to work autonomously

**Desirable**
- Experience editing or writing financial journals would be advantageous
- Experience writing macros in Excel

**Our Offer**
- This is a full-time position, with the opportunity to work remotely or in our Banbury, New York, and London offices
- £80,000 - £90,000 depending on experience
- Equivalent of 23 days holiday per year
