Reed Accountancy & Finance is delighted to have partnered with an Academy Trust in the Southend-on-Sea area who are searching for an experienced Payroll Specialist to run their payroll function.

In this fast-paced and ever-changing role, you will be an integral member of the head office team and will play a crucial role in the payroll for circa 500 members of staff.

**Location: Borough of Southend-on-Sea (hybrid)**

**Salary: £40,000-£46,000 per annum**

**Hours: 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm**

Your role will include:

- Leading and managing the payroll function
- Preparing and processing payroll process for all staff on a monthly basis
- Preparing and submitting statutory returns to HMRC and pension schemes
- Ensuring compliance with payroll related legislation and adhering to deadlines
- Reporting of payroll information to the board

As the Trust have very recently brought payroll in-house, this will be a progressive role and is a great time to join the team
