**We are looking for a hard working, practical person to join our small team of engineers installing CCTV and security equipment in Shropshire and the surrounding counties.**

**O.R.P Surveillance Ltd,** founded in 1998, design, install and maintain complex CCTV surveillance systems for industrial, commercial, and agricultural properties, as well as for the Public Sector. We cover predominately the West Midlands and Mid-Wales. We consistently deliver cutting edge surveillance systems of the highest quality, installed by our small team of highly professional engineers.

**The Role**:
You will be employed in the capacity of an installation engineer, predominately installing complex digital, HD and IP CCTV systems as well as smart alarm systems; Access Control Systems; wireless network links and WiFi; 4G internet; two-way radio systems; fibre optics; livestock monitoring systems; and production process & H&S systems. A company vehicle, mobile phone, laptop, tools, uniform, and PPE will be provided. You will set off from home each day in the company vehicle, travelling to the installation site(s) for the duration of the work day before heading home. You must have room to park the van at your home address overnight.

**Essential Criteria**:
No previous experience in CCTV installation is required, as training will be provided. You will need to have a full UK driving licence, and be a practical person who can use power tools.

You will be required to have good time management; liaise with customers; take stock checks when required and maintain the tidiness of your van. You should be able to use power tools and hand tools, and have a good head for heights. You will learn to run in cable, install security equipment, complete pre-use checks on equipment and vehicles as well as assessing sites from a health and safety perspective.

**Training**:
You will acquire qualifications for Working at Height, including iPAF training for using Mobile Elevating Work Platforms. You will be trained on the surveillance and alarm equipment that we install, and gain training in Health and Safety and first aid. You will receive on-the-job training regarding the installation of equipment and cables.

**Hours and Wages**:
This role is for a full time position, with standard hours being 8am until 5pm, Monday to Friday. There may be occasional weekend, early morning and evening work, and therefore some degree of flexible working hours are required.

You will have access to a company vehicle, and will be required to keep this at your home address overnight.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
